Currently, Fischer International is expanding their team in Lithuanian factory and is looking for a HR & HQSE Manager to join their team in Kaunas.

About the Role:

This is a standalone HR & HQSE Manager position where you will implement sound HR and HQSE practices and processes. Within the area of Human Resources, it is an HR generalist position supporting the managers and employees in all aspects of the people strategy. You’ll look to improve all areas of the employee cycle and will be leading on recruitment, employee motivation and satisfaction, compensation and benefits, learning and development, culture and engagement, etc. Within the area of Health, Quality, Safety and Environment, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Fischer Groups quality system in the factory as well as for implementing safe systems of work and safe behavioral practices at all levels of the organization. You will work very closely with the Production Planning & Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Group Management, and other stakeholders to lead and contribute to talent initiatives that drive business value.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the talent acquisition process (including employer branding, building pipeline, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of all employees)
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews, oversee payroll function to ensure staff are correctly remunerated
  • Clarify the needs in relation to competences, team development and factory development; create learning and development programs and initiatives
  • Perform employee work satisfaction surveys, design, and implement cultural and engagement activities
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the HQSE setup and processes to meet legislative and operational requirements
  • Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect safety in the factory at all levels
  • Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the HQSE performance of the Company
  • Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvement

A bit about you:

  • You have sound HR experience and knowledge to ensure best practice is in place across a range of HR areas (we are open to experienced HR Managers as well as Senior HR Generalists or HR Business Partners looking to move into the HR Manager role)
  • You have BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • You have practical knowledge in how to manage and implement Quality Management Systems
  • You have initiative, decisiveness, and confidence to take charge of situations, people and decisions
  • You have structured thinking, attention to detail, and excellent analytical skills to analyze and critically review quality data and create and review processes
  • You are proficient in Lithuanian and English
